Payment methods
Legit ink accepts visa, mastercard, paypal, afterpay apple pay, and android pay. Please note only one (1) form of payment method may be used on a single order, we do not offer split payment options.
Payment troubleshooting
For the security of our shoppers, we have fraud protections in place during our checkout process. If you are attempting to checkout and receive the following error message "Transaction cannot be processed" please contact your bank in order for them to authorize the transaction.
Charging your card
Once your order has been placed, your card is charged according to the amount and currency of your order, including any applicable taxes and shipping fees.
Refunds for full order or item cancellations
If we need to cancel your order due to lack of product availability, we will notify you by email and will refund the amount charged immediately. Please note that it may take up to 10 business days for the funds to reflect back on your bank statement.
Payment for preordered items
We collect payment for all items purchased on preorder at the time you place the order.
Personal information
All information shared with legit ink when placing an order is confidential. We do not store or hold any of your card information. For additional information please read our privacy policy.
International orders - customs fees, import tax duties
All international orders (outside of australia) may be subject to sales tax, import duties, and customs charges at the receiver’s expense. This rate is determined by the receiving country. Please contact your local customs for further information.
Please note that once an order has been placed it cannot be cancelled or changed.
Orders
Legit ink does not ship to PO boxes. Please allow 7-10 business days for your order to be processed and shipped.
Sales tax
All orders within australia include gst in the sale price
International shipping
All international orders will ship express courier (air). Shipping method cannot be changed. Please allow 4-5 business days for international orders to be processed.
Preorder
Legit ink collects payment for all items purchased on preorder at the time the order is placed.
Once an order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. Please note that once an order is placed it cannot be cancelled or changed. We cannot change the shipping address or the shipping method selected.
We are unable to price match or make price adjustments.
Order status
You will receive a shipping confirmation email, containing a tracking number, once your order leaves our distribution center. For additional inquiries about the status of your order, please us our contact us form.
Route protection shipping insurance
If you have purchased route protection you may file a claim through route. To report an issue please visit your email confirmation and follow the steps below:
1. Open your email from route
2. In the email, copy your route order id into the required field and then click 'resolve an issue'
3. In the form, your email address and order number will pre-populate
4. Choose issue with your order (lost, stolen, or damaged)
5. Add description
6. Click submit
Our change of mind policy applies in addition to, and does not affect your rights, under the consumer guarantees which apply under the Australian Consumer Law. LEGIT INK has a strict Customer Return Policy and Procedure to ensure that each item is dealt with quickly and professionally.
- Items purchased online must be returned via CONTACT US form
- Items purchased from a LEGIT INK authorised partner, must be returned to the store of purchase.
We will allow a change of mind return for refund or exchange, provided that the item in question is:
- An item purchased at LEGIT.INK – this excludes items with final sale disclaimers.
- Returned within 15 days of purchase.
- In original purchased condition with tags attached.
- In original & undamaged packaging.
- Has not been worn
- Free of any odours or fragrances
- Not underwear or socks; and eyewear
- Not damaged in any way
- Not a gift card
- Downloadable software product
All Items with a ‘Final Sale’ disclaimer cannot be returned for change of mind reasons.
We're happy for you to try on clothing to see if it fits, for hygiene reasons you must wear your own underwear underneath the garment.
**IMPORTANT** - LEGIT INK takes no responsibility for returned items that do not reach us or are damaged in transit. Please take care in wrapping your return item/s safely and securely.
Please note, all returns must be shipped via Australia Post, there is no customer access at our warehouse.
Exchange
If you wish to change your item for another size, you may do so via our CONTACT US form. After submitting your exchange via the return portal, we recommend posting your items back at your earliest convenience.
Your selected exchange item will not be reserved until your return parcel is in transit. Should you delay posting your items back to us for any length of time, we cannot guarantee that the item you have selected will still be available.
Once you have dropped off your exchange item with Australia Post, we will organise for your replacement item to be shipped to you right away.
Refund
We are happy to offer a full refund on all full priced items, excluding underwear, gift cards, downloadable software products, socks and eyewear, for up to 15 days from purchase provided the items meet the above requirements.
Once we have received your return, we will assess your returned item/s to ensure they comply with our returns policy. Refunds will be processed within 10 business days. Refunds will be credited back into the original account of payment.
Item/s that were bought during a sale or discount promotion will be refunded for the amount paid for the item i.e. the listed price for that item at time of order less the discount applied.
Final Sale Items
All items marked with a final sale disclaimer cannot be returned for change of mind reasons. No returns or exchanges will be accepted on final sale items, unless covered under our Warranty Policy.
Once we have received and confirmed the returned products comply with our returns policy, refunds will be processed within 10 working days. Refunds will be credited back into the original account of payment.
If you have selected to exchange your item, your new order will be shipped upon receipt and inspection of your exchange item.
How do I make an online return?

How do I make a return if I have moved overseas?
We offer free returns within Australia. If you would like to organise an international return, please contact our customer care team SUPPORT@LEGIT.INK to organise. Please note; return shipping cost will apply to international returns, unless your return is under Warranty Policy.
When will my purchase be refunded?
We will process your refund as soon as we’ve received and inspected your return and confirmed it complies with our returns and exchange policy. You will receive an email confirming that your refund has been processed, and the funds will appear in original account used to make the purchase within 7-10 business days depending on your bank.
I think my item might be faulty on arrival?
Our change of mind policy applies in addition to, and does not affect your rights, under the consumer guarantees which apply under the Australian Consumer Law. If you believe that you have received a faulty item, please submit a request under our warranty for return or exchange via our CONTACT US Form.
Shipping and delivery information
Standard processing time for orders is 5-7 business days to be processed and shipped. Orders placed after 10:00 am (aest) may be processed the following business day. Processing and shipping times may increase during specific collection launches, holidays, and other peak seasons. Business days refer to monday to friday and exclude public holidays.
Amending a shipping address
We cannot change the shipping address or the shipping method selected after checkout. Once an order has been shipped, an email will be sent to the email address provided on the order with your shipment's tracking information. Customers are responsible for monitoring the delivery of their shipment once an order has left our warehouse.
Shipping options and costs
Orders take 4-7 business days to arrive once your order leaves our Australian distribution center. For all other purchases, shipping costs will be calculated at checkout and will be based on your shipping address and estimated weight of your package.
Note we do not ship to PO boxes.
International shipping options and costs
International shipping rates vary. during checkout we calculate shipping costs based on your location and estimated weight of your package. International delivery times vary between 7-21 days depending on your location.
International orders - customs fees, import tax duties
Orders delivered outside of australia are not subject to australian taxes. Because the shipments pass through customs, they are subject to import duties, taxes, and custom processing fees. In most cases, a bill will accompany the delivery, and is payable upon receipt of the package, or the bill will follow shortly in the mail. All taxes and customs duties are the responsibility of the recipient of the delivery. Please note that we cannot estimate the amount of the taxes, duties and/or fees that will be applied to international orders. We suggest you contact your country's customs bureau before placing your order. If you refuse customs duties after the parcel has been shipped we cannot issue refunds for parcels in such circumstances.

Failed delivery/ returned to sender/ abandoned packages
If your package cannot be delivered to the given shipping address due to incorrect shipping address and/or phone number, the package will be returned to the sender (legit ink) at the customer’s expense. The expense includes shipping costs and any duty and tax the package may have incurred; this amount will be deducted from the total of the amount to be refunded.
If the receiver is absent upon all delivery attempts, your package will be held at a local courier center for pick up. if the customer fails to pick up the package for any reason, the package will be returned to the sender (legit ink) at the customer’s expense. The expense includes shipping costs and any duty and tax the package may have incurred; this amount will be deducted from the total of the amount to be refunded.
For international customers, in the event that a parcel is not claimed or refused by the receiver, the carrier will attempt re-delivery. However, if re-delivery arrangements cannot be made by the carrier's cut-off time, the parcel may be abandoned or destroyed by local authorities. Unfortunately, legit ink cannot issue refunds for parcels in such circumstances. If the package is returned to legit ink it will be at your expense. The expense includes shipping costs and any duty and tax the package may have incurred; this amount will be deducted from the total of the amount to be refunded.
Packages will be held at customs for 30 days, after which it will be deemed abandoned. Customers who have abandoned a package will forfeit the right to an exchange or refund for their order.
Damaged/opened box
If you receive your package, and it is damaged and/or opened, please take a photo of the damage before checking the contents inside. Please submit a claim via the courier used to ship your order. Please also contact us at support@legit.Ink.
General
At legit ink, we pride ourselves on the high quality of our products, so you can feel confident that your purchase is covered by our 6 month warranty.
To claim warranty on an item, you must have the original receipt or online order details from which the garment was purchased.
Where allowed by law, the legit ink warranty does not apply to purchases from unauthorized sellers, including unauthorized internet sites.
Clothing
Major fault
A major fault is a fault that affects the performance and function of the garment. Our warranty covers all major faults, such as seams tearing, fabric faults resulting in product failure.
Your items will not qualify for warranty if they are affected by any of the reasons listed below
- Discolouration
- Damage due to care instructions not being followed
- Rips in fabric
- General wear and tear
- Damage due to contact with abrasive surfaces
Warranty Process
To initiate your warranty claim for items purchased online, please contact support@legit.Ink.
You will be asked to provide proof of purchase and photos of the item. You may be asked to send your item back to us. If return is required, legit ink will cover all shipping and handling costs of your item and provide you with a shipping label to send your item.
Upon receiving your photos and/or item, your item will be assessed by our team. We have the right to inspect claimed damages to items and decide on the outcome and cause of damage.
